How homoeopathy works!

Our bodies are constantly affected by energy changes, and when these energy disturbances occur, they show up as physical symptoms. These can include things like pain, fatigue, or other signs that something isn’t quite right. These disturbances can be caused by many factors like strong emotions (fear, anger, grief, etc.), infections, medications, or even genetic traits.

When our body shows these symptoms, it's actually trying to protect and heal itself. Just like when you get a cut and the body starts healing it automatically, the body has its own way of dealing with issues. However, sometimes this natural healing process isn’t enough, and that's when we need help from external sources, like medicines.

How Homoeopathy Works

Homoeopathic medicine works on a simple principle called the "law of similars." It means that a substance which has a potential to cause something also has the potential to cure the same thing. In homoeopathy substances, when given to a healthy person in a very diluted form, can produce certain signs and symptoms. These symptoms are listed and organized in books called Materia Medica.

A homoeopath (a professional who practices homoeopathy) studies all these signs and symptoms to understand the energy imbalance in the body. By doing this, they can find a remedy from over 1000 different medicines that closely matches the exact pattern of symptoms the patient is experiencing. When this remedy is given in the right dose, it helps restore balance and heal the body.

Homoeopathy and ADHD

In conditions like ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), the body struggles to process too much stimulation. The problem often lies in how the child’s senses (sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste) respond to the world around them. A homoeopath looks at any changes or problems in these senses, as well as other conditions like allergies, to form a complete picture of the body’s disturbance.

In ADHD, a child may also experience other symptoms, like frequent allergic colds. A homoeopath would consider both the ADHD and allergy symptoms together when selecting the right remedy. They would find a medicine that, when taken in a stronger dose, can correct both the ADHD and the allergy over time by improving the body’s defence mechanism.

In short, when the body’s defence mechanism isn't strong enough, homeopathic remedies can step in with a similar, stronger force to restore balance and health based on the idea that a substance, when given in a very tiny dose, can help the body to stimulate its own healing powers.
